Endurance Training
What it is
- Longer aerobic/cardiorespiratory work above Zone 2 Cardio duration/intensity (incl. fasted endurance).
How it works
- Broad cardiovascular + mitochondrial adaptations; aerobic work above the lactate threshold for ≥10 min can also trigger an exercise-induced GH pulse.
Goal relevance
- Cardiorespiratory fitness/longevity; MOTS-C preferentially benefits endurance (slow-twitch) capacity and is synergistic with (not a replacement for) endurance work.
How to do it
- Progressive volume; mix with Zone 2 base.
Cautions
- Overtraining/under-recovery if stacked with aggressive caloric deficit.
